Refund policy

Overview

At FALLACY, we maintain a strict returns and refund policy to ensure fairness, product integrity, and quality control.

By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Returns Eligibility

We accept returns only under the following conditions:

  • Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery
  • Items must be unworn, unused, and in original condition
  • All original packaging, tags, and labels must be intact
  • No signs of wear, damage, washing, or alteration

Returns that do not meet these conditions will be rejected and returned to you.


2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-refundable and non-returnable:

  • Sale or discounted items
  • Limited edition or exclusive releases
  • Underwear, socks, or headwear (for hygiene reasons)
  • Gift cards
  • Items returned without original packaging or tags

3. Right to Cancel (UK Customers)

If you are based in the United Kingdom, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

However:

  • Items must still be returned in unused and resaleable condition
  • We reserve the right to reduce or refuse refunds if items show signs of handling beyond what is necessary

4. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method
  • Processing time: 5–10 business days

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse refunds that do not meet our policy
  • Deduct amounts for damaged or used items

5. Return Costs

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable
  • We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments

We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service.


6. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

If you wish to exchange an item:

  1. Return the original item (if eligible)
  2. Place a new order

7. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Where a fault is confirmed, we will:

  • Offer a replacement (subject to availability), or
  • Issue a refund

We reserve the right to request evidence (photos/videos) before approving claims.


8. International Orders

For international customers:

  • You are responsible for return shipping, customs fees, and duties
  • We do not refund import taxes or customs charges
  • Delivery delays due to customs are not grounds for refunds

9. Late or Missing Returns

Returns sent after the 14-day window may be refused.

If accepted at our discretion:

  • A partial refund or store credit may be issued

10. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us first:

  • You may be banned from future purchases
  • We reserve the right to dispute the claim with evidence
